However, thousands in underserved rural and urban areas continue to suffer due to a lack of affordable and accessible healthcare. Our Healthcare Access for the Poor program is dedicated to bridging this gap and creating a healthier, more resilient society.

🎯 Program Objective

To ensure accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare services to poor families, especially in remote villages and urban slums, through preventive care, mobile clinics, health awareness, and medical support initiatives.

🏥 What We Do

✅ Free Medical Camps

We organize regular health check-up camps with the help of local doctors and medical volunteers. These camps focus on common ailments, maternal and child health, vision, dental care, and lifestyle diseases.

✅ Mobile Healthcare Units

For areas without clinics, our mobile medical vans bring healthcare directly to the doorsteps of the poor. Basic diagnostics, medicines, and health counseling are provided on-site.

✅ Health Awareness & Preventive Education

We conduct awareness drives on:

  • Hygiene and sanitation

  • Nutrition and anemia prevention

  • Reproductive and child health

  • Disease prevention (like dengue, malaria, TB, etc.)

✅ Emergency Medical Aid

For urgent medical needs or chronic illness among the poor, DOVE arranges financial assistance, referrals to government hospitals, and help in availing welfare schemes.

✅ Support for Elderly & Disabled

We prioritize the health of vulnerable populations like the elderly, disabled, and widowed, offering home visits, palliative care support, and health kits.

📍 Where We Work

Our activities currently serve Chittoor District (Andhra Pradesh) and select neighboring villages. Expansion is ongoing in other low-resource areas in South India.
