Empowering Rural Economies Through Tradition, Innovation & Sustainability

India’s rural economy is rooted in agriculture and traditional crafts. At DOVE, we are committed to revitalizing these sectors by supporting farmers and artisans through education, tools, technology, and market linkages. Our program “Boosting Agriculture & Handicrafts” bridges age-old practices with modern opportunities—fostering economic growth, employment, and dignity in rural areas.

🎯 Program Objective

To enhance income opportunities for rural farmers and artisans by improving productivity, promoting sustainable practices, and connecting them to modern markets.

🌾 Agricultural Empowerment

Training on Modern Farming Techniques

We organize workshops on organic farming, crop diversification, sustainable irrigation, soil testing, and pest control, enabling farmers to improve yield and reduce input costs.

Access to Government Schemes

DOVE supports farmers in availing subsidies, crop insurance, Kisan Credit Cards, and PM-KISAN benefits by guiding them through documentation and application processes.

Soil Testing & Organic Awareness

We conduct soil testing camps and awareness drives to encourage the adoption of natural fertilizers and eco-friendly farming methods.

Farmer Producer Groups (FPGs)

We help form FPGs to enable bulk purchasing of inputs, collective selling, and better price negotiation in markets.

🧵 Handicraft Development

Skill Training for Artisans

Tailored training programs are held in pottery, handloom weaving, embroidery, bamboo work, and eco-craft production to improve quality and diversify product lines.

Design Innovation & Quality Enhancement

Artisans are introduced to modern tools, eco-friendly dyes, and market trends to upgrade traditional craft for contemporary appeal.

Market Linkages

We connect artisans to exhibitions, online platforms, and urban markets to showcase and sell their products—ensuring fair prices and increased visibility.

Women Artisan Groups

Special focus is given to empowering rural women through the formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) for collaborative craft production and savings.
